From small Beginnings

The piece is begun. It starts as a small bowl shape, formed by pressing a piece of clay with my fists to make a dip in the centre. A coil is then placed on top and joined to the base with my thumbs. The tall pieces of clay in the background are drying as the clay is very soft. Each day I will gradually add more layers and I aim to show it slowly growing and becoming whole.
