Slight Technical Hitch!
People often ask if I have many firing disasters and I usually say no ( with crossed fingers) because I can usually tell when a piece is not strong enough to hold its shape when I am building it.
I put a couple of layers on this this morning, and then it started to sag. There is no point in trying to reverse this so I had only one option.
I cut the clay apart.

Wedge it to remove any air bubbles.

And start again. Trying not to build the sides too upright as a reaction to the last attempt. I want the sides as splayed as they can go without sagging.
