A lovely article about sculpture.
There is a great article in The July edition of The English Garden magazine!
It is a conversation with Hannah Peschar, curator of the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden in Surrey. I have had the pleasure of working with Hannah Peschar for 20 years in which time she has nurtured my talent as a sculptor as well as enthusiastically advising when I was considering opening my own garden as a sculpture garden.
The article is full of useful advice for anyone considering placing a piece of sculpture in their own garden, weather large or small.
Glad to see this rather nice shot in the article!
The piece that I am working on is drying slowly in this wet weather, which means that I can’t put too much clay on each day in case it sags. I’m very happy with it’s shape so far!
