With a pounding heart

Today I worked fast with a pounding heart. Putting clay on the top here is asking the previous top sides to collapse. You have to wait till they are dry and strong, but not too dry as a good join is essential.

Coil two, even more weight…

This is the last one, I need to get my hand inside so I make it thick so that I can move the clay to join the whole thing once I have joined this coil to the main body.

Holding my breath here!

Phew, once it is joined the air trapped inside holds it all up. It should not collapse now! … It still could… I will dry the top for a few days and then it will be strong enough to work on.
