A Great Day Out

We had a fantastic time at the Yorkshire Artspace events in sheffield this weekend. There was a huge variety of art to see and buy as well as loads of great workshops for children and adults. The Girls loved adding to this wire sculpture under the direction of artist Claire Lee who showed them the technique and then let them freely work, the piece gradually evolving as each individual person adds their own personality to it.
I am hoping Clee will do a similar project in the garden next year, and visitors will be able to join in and create a wonderful growing piece of art.
