15th May 2017I’m starting to bring the sides in now, this must be done slowly and carefully so that they don’t sag.I always support both sides when moving the clay. It is important to join the clay consistently so that it is strong enough to hold itself together. It is getting very heavy now.

A Process.
30th April 2017I draw through the yellow slip, revealing the inlaid colour underneath. I cant afford to slip now, every mark I make will show. Blimey, this one was heavy! What a transformation, i love it! It looks beautiful in the garden. Putting work outside really brings the surfaces to life.
Limestone looks wonderful in the sunshine.
